The Illustration with Animation course at Manchester Metropolitan is something I am greatly interested in. I have always loved to draw and I want to be able to improve on my skills and to turn that into moving image. I think it will be a good challenge for me as animation is outside my comfort zone. It's something I am very passionate about and I want to have a career in this industry after University.

These are continuous line drawings I based on photos I took for the "Landscape Surfaces" project.

This is work from my sketchbook that I did in the style of Alex Pardee.

This is from the 'Movement' project I did in the 1st year. We began the project with the idea of journeys. So we covered strips of paper with maps and sketches of streets, then layered with different media.

This is work I made using ink and stick, over a coffee stained background, for 'Landscape Surfaces'.

This is part of a three part canvas painting I made for 'Landscape Surfaces' using acrylics. We worked with the acrylic to make different effects or 'surfaces' on the canvas.

This is from the 'Family' project. It's a photo of my nephew which I worked over using acrylic, pen and ink.

This is a painting I made for the 'Family' project using Gouache paints.

This is my piece from 'Inside, Outside', which is based on a picture of an animals heart.

This is a painting based on a photo I took for 'Landscape Surfaces'.

This is a watercolour from the 'Landscape Surfaces' project.

These two pictures were made on A1 sheets, using media at random to see the effects made.

In my spare time I like to socialize with friends, go to the cinema and listen to music. I like music from a lot of genres, particularly music from the 80's and Rock music. I also like to paint outside of college. I like to paint characters from my favourite films or t.v. shows, but I will also paint random objects I see around me at the time.
